This statement applies to the website nordwebstudios.de and follows the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), its ordinance (BFSGV, in particular §§ 12, 13, 19) and EN 301 549 / WCAG 2.1 level AA. Last updated: August 2026.
1. Current status
We strive to make this website accessible to everyone. Based on our own assessment, the site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.
2. Measures already in place
- Semantic HTML with a clear heading structure and landmarks
- A „Skip to content“ link on all subpages
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
- Interactive controls with a minimum size of 44 × 44 pixels
- Text alternatives for informative images
- Contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for body text
- Respect for the „reduce motion“ system setting
- Forms with associated labels and understandable error messages
3. Content that is not fully accessible
- The animated 3D portfolio view is highly visual; all projects are also reachable as text links.
- Some decorative animations may stutter on older devices.
- Embedded third-party content (e.g. web fonts, form delivery) is not fully within our control.
